The staff checked in every day to ask if we needed top-ups or rubbish emptied, and they went out of their way to make our trip stress-free. We were travelling with someone who needed his dialysis bags changed every four hours, and they were awesome, friendly and easy-going throughout. The rooms were perfect, and the location was close to everything. It was affordable, too. I'd definitely recommend staying here when visiting Wellington or staying near Porirua.

The room was small, with nowhere to hang clothes, and there was no soundproofing. The LOUD F45 gym right next door plays nightclub music from 5am, with the trainer yelling through a mic. That's a bad spot for a hotel. At least there are food places around, and the heater works.

There was a bird in the room's vent scratching around and making noise, on top of the gym and club downstairs blasting music at all hours. The window seals are shot, so wind blows in and rattles the already ruined blinds. The parking instructions are wrong, and in three days I never saw anyone at the front desk. The room looked nice in the photos, but in reality it wasn't great. I wouldn't recommend it or stay again.

For the price, the room had everything we needed to cook for ourselves, even a dishwasher. It was roomier than other hotels I've stayed at for the same money, with comfortable beds, a good shower, and plenty of soap, conditioner and shampoo. We were well placed for the shops, the museum and the karate tournament we attended. There can be some noise from exercise classes on certain mornings, but that's part of being so close to everything and outside the hotel's control. Absolutely amazing value!

It's a noisy location, though that's out of the hotel's control. The rooms were great, clean, and the staff were great too. Parking was easy, even while towing a digger, and there are plenty of food places nearby. We'd stay again.
