The service was lovely, and we were moved from room 4 to room 1 as an "upgrade" when we arrived. The room was tidy, though not especially clean. As people mentioned in earlier reviews, the bathroom drain stinks. They’d put in reed diffusers, but the scents mixed together and became overpowering and really unpleasant.

The host was good, the shower was great, and the bed was large and comfortable. I had everything I needed, including a folder of menus for nearby places to eat. They fitted me in very well despite my late booking last weekend. The room was larger than I expected and at the back, so it was quiet. I’ll use them again.

They sent a text with all the room access details when I arrived late, and communication was good. The room was only tidyish, though. The bathroom drain absolutely stunk, the air con wouldn’t turn on, and the walls were so thin that noise woke me easily. The glasses were still wet, which made me question the cleaning. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if a good night’s sleep matters.

A pleasant little place in Pukekohe, close to everything and reasonably priced. The rooms are nice, and the owners were very pleasant.

We stayed in unit 1 in April 2025 and regretted it, especially at $190. The shower drain was disgusting and smelled so bad it stunk out the whole room. The place was dark, dated, and dirty, and the flooring was dirty and badly laid. The owners need to put money into bringing the motel up to a decent standard. They weren’t around in the morning, so we couldn’t give them this feedback in person.
