We used U15 as our base for five days, and the lake views were amazing. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and had comfortable king beds. I asked to have one bedroom’s two king singles changed to a king double, and it was done within an hour with no fuss. Housekeeping was done by lovely ladies. It’s about a 20 minute walk to Queenstown, with a few hills but nothing too bad. The water saving toilet was great, too. Perfect place to stay. 👌

We loved the direct access from the apartment to the lakeside trail, and town attractions were a beautiful 20 minute walk away. The apartment was bright, spacious and very well kept, with incredible views from every room. A glorious lakefront location.

We’ll be back to Spinnaker Bay apartments next time we’re in Queenstown. Our two bedroom place was quiet, spacious and comfortable, with great amenities, outstanding views and a very good price. It’s an easy 20 minute walk into town, and checking in and picking up the keys was straightforward. Each apartment has free parking. The space was a bit tight, but we had no trouble.

January 2026. The house was cleaned thoroughly and had everything we needed, and we had a great family stay with lovely hospitality and breathtaking views. Our experience was good, though the washing machine is a little outdated.

I’m sad I won’t wake up to that stunning lake view anymore. This was a fantastic base for catching the last of the spring snow, with town an easy walk away and a bus stop nearby. The apartment was warm, with plenty of firewood for the wood heater, plus lots of other heaters including one in the downstairs drying room. The kitchen was fully equipped, and having a washer and dryer was handy. The internal stairs are quite narrow, so hauling luggage up may be tricky for some. A fantastic stay.
