I loved being able to choose whether to keep using our towels or have the room serviced. You can hang towels up to keep them, or leave them in the shower for collection. That sustainability-minded approach is great, and I really commend them for offering the choice. My partner treated me to a spa in our room, too. It was tidy and made for a great getaway.

The bed was super comfortable, and the huge spa bath was a real treat. The rooms were clean and tidy, with a bright, modern feel. Although there are two levels of rooms, we couldn't hear noise from the others. We got a free upgrade to a spa room and a warm welcome, all great value for money. It's handy to everything in Rotorua, and we'd definitely stay again.

The one-bedroom unit had enough space for three adults, with one person sleeping on the pull-out couch in the living area. It was clean and nicely decorated, and the heated pool was lovely for a swim. The shower pressure was fantastic. We got a lovely welcome at reception from a friendly couple, and I'd recommend it.

The units feel really homely, and the staff are lovely. It was extremely hot during my stay, and the lounge air-conditioning didn't cool the main bedroom, so a fan in the room would have helped. Other than that, it's a lovely place and I'll definitely go back.

The room was okay, and there's a clean pool and a nice barbecue area. I did run into a few issues: the door lock didn't feel secure, there was no lift for luggage, and the hotplates had no working range hood, so cooking smells lingered in the room.
