This wasn't as advertised, and it didn't feel like a 4 star place. The cabin was extremely hot, as if it had been shut up for days. There were no towels, toiletries, or sink, and the bed had hair on it while the floor was sticky. The toilet was dirty and the showers were small. Reception closed at 5:30pm.

The place was cool, but the couch needs replacing so it matches what's shown on the website. It would also help to offer room service or make sure every cabin has a vacuum, especially for guests staying a week or longer.

For us, this place is really 10 Stars. The night sky by the Holden lake was my highlight. We love it here, it feels like a second home, the activities were just right and affordable, and the owners are lovely. The workers are friendly too. The children didn't want to leave.

Be aware that the airport is right next to it. You don't have to be sensitive to be disturbed, especially if you're traveling with kids. They should at least tell guests about it upfront.

We keep our Motorhome in the back paddock, which is a safe place to park. The Managers are lovely to deal with. It's set up for campers, caravans, motorhomes and cabins, with tidy facilities, a swimming pool, a dump station and a wash bay for cleaning the motorhome. The coffee cart is seasonal.
