The view was good for a few hours, but after that it felt like there was nowhere to go. There are private properties on both sides, no nearby petrol stations, EV chargers, dairies, or convenience stores, and nothing to walk to. The neighbourhood felt dreary and dead, so I'd suggest spending the day away from the accommodation. The place seems like it could have potential, and I can see the other reviews are good, but I wanted the kind of Airbnb host they got, not the one I had. I left with a very bitter taste in my mouth and an itchy arm, after wanting to feel good during my stay. It was just somewhere to sleep, and even that went badly: I was bitten multiple times by bed bugs in one night. The windows were kept closed, and I'd used bug repellent lotion before bed, which has worked for me many times before. There were also a lot of rules that seemed arbitrary or made up on the spot. For example, no showers after 10 PM, and no using or charging high-voltage appliances or electronics because of the “old electrical system,” even though they were provided with instructions. The stove and oven are electric, so apparently using them could short something. The surveillance rules made the host feel Orwellian or like “Big Brother.” I suspect the house may have been bugged with surveillance equipment, though I can't be sure. I just can't trust this Airbnb host. Given the lack of comfort, convenience, amenities, entertainment, peace of mind, and freedom, I think it's worth spending a little more for somewhere better, such as Millennium hotel nearer the city, where hot springs and Korean fried chicken restaurants are within walking distance. Then you and your friends or family can do things whenever and wherever you want, with hotel and motel rules that make more sense and are justified. You may also be less likely to perish in an electrical fire caused by the “old electrical system” nonsense. In short, you get what you pay for: bed bugs, a host or landlord who made me think of an Orwellian surveillance state, and better options elsewhere.
