The only thing we liked was the comfortable beds. We'd gone with a big group of friends over a long weekend, and with few other options, we didn't try to cancel or change rooms. They gave us a free upgrade from a queen studio to a twin studio, but it was the worst room ever. It was very small, and the shower was unusable because there was barely room to stand. The spa couldn't be used either: it had concrete steps, and you had to climb over the bathroom window to get in. We also saw a cockroach. I wouldn't recommend it, especially when the same price gets you better options. It looked nothing like the website pictures.

The staff were kind, and the bed was comfortable. I also liked having an outdoor pool area, though mine had no water in it, so I couldn't use it. The bathroom glasses weren't very clean, and the shower head dropped to the floor whenever I turned it on unless I caught it. Each time anyone in the building flushed a toilet, there was a huge whooshing noise from the bathroom that kept me awake all night. For over $100, that wasn't worth it. I only gave two stars because of the kind staff.

We left by 8am and wouldn't stay here again. The quick check-in and location were worth two stars, but the room and shared facilities were in poor shape. We found rubbish from a chocolate wrapper in a drawer, an old food container in the microwave, and pubic hair on the blankets. The hot tub was hard to reach if you had mobility issues or were wider than the window you had to climb through. Its water had pubic hair, lint, and scum floating in it, so it clearly hadn't been cleaned between guests. The dresser knob fell off, shower tiles were cracked, and water pressure was poor. The room was hot and stuffy, with small windows, little airflow or natural light, and no air conditioning. We had to keep the door open to get air. The manager wouldn't let us park our little car by the unit because it might block traffic, so we had to park some distance away. My mum has bad knees and a mobility parking sticker, and walking is hard for her, though she doesn't like to make a fuss. About an hour later, people checking in next door were told they could park their massive SUV parallel to our room, right in front of our door, about 3 feet away. It blocked our view, breeze, and light. When we pointed out the different parking instruction, they said the man at the desk told them to park there. We then had no privacy. They were in and out of the vehicle every few minutes, or sitting at their patio table right by us talking loudly, while a child around 7 yelled and screamed. It was annoying as hell, but closing the door made the room stifling. After two hours I was ready to leave, but my mum was tired, her knees were swollen, and she'd already dragged her case in and unpacked. By then it was late, so we put up with it. The hot tub in the room was also pretty icky. The room might have been more bearable with closer parking and better cleanliness, but we wouldn't return.

The manager was lovely and went out of her way to help with our laundry and fix the lights when they stopped working. We had the two bedroom unit, and its quaint downstairs setup was just right for our little family. It was close to shops and amenities, and there was plenty of nearby free parking, even though the car park itself was a tight fit for our large car. We loved the place and would recommend it.
