The room had a spacious bedroom and sitting area, plus a kitchenette, and the attention to detail was amazing. It was spotless and thoughtfully equipped, with a coffee machine and kettle, pods and instant coffee, and tea for all sorts of preferences. There was fresh milk in a bottle, bath salts, candles, lotions and potions, mince pies and chocolates, and a gigantic spa bath that worked perfectly. The room was beautifully presented and beat most five star hotels we’ve stayed in, while costing a very reasonable amount. Trish gave us a lovely welcome, and Rusty the super friendly dog was a bonus. The owners were fabulous and friendly. There’s also a spa and massage on site, though we didn’t have time to try it.

Trish arranged the day spa massage for me and my partner, and it was fantastic. We had an amazing experience.

We’ll definitely stay again. The owners are caring, lovely people, and the place is so quiet. When the mountain plays ball, the view is exquisite. We really enjoyed the wine and cheese platter and breakfast, and I especially loved the huge spa bath. My wife had a facial massage and thought it was excellent. It’s a beautiful retreat and well worth visiting.

We had a lovely time with the indulgence package. The setting is beautiful, with birdsong and a great indoor outdoor flow. We could enjoy the views from our room, even from the spa bath. Breakfast was scrumptious and the platter was just right. Thanks to the talented ladies at the spa as well.
