The pool was crystal clear, a refreshing spot at the end of a hot day, and the barbecue was clean and new. The motel was looked after and very clean. The decor was plain and average, but immaculate. We were welcomed and the staff were so helpful, another five stars for them. For the price, it's well done, and I'm grateful.

The room was spacious and much nicer than we expected for the price, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. We were in town over a long weekend for our son’s football tournament in Cambridge and needed an affordable place to rest. Having laundry onsite was a lifesaver for washing his kit each day. The location worked well too, about 25 minutes from the football fields and 25 minutes from The Base for dinner and shopping. We’ll stay again next time we’re in the area.

SO CLEAN, ALWAYS. The staff are friendly and helpful, whether they're finding me the best value room after my plans change or I urgently call to ask about a room. Even when they're full, they answer. It's nice to talk to a real person who gives a damn.

The pool and barbecue area are really nice, and the staff are friendly at this lovely motel. The bed was a bit hard for my taste, but I’d definitely recommend staying.

We were three adults needing just an overnight stop on the way back from Auckland, and they accommodated us well with great personal service. I appreciated the little milk bottles for drinks, which sealed back up between uses.
