This was a great place to stop on the way to the airport, especially after staying in so many hotels. It's right by the beach, with a great position and room to breathe. The manager was excellent and gave us useful advice on places to eat. If we return to New Zealand, we'd definitely put this place on our list for a few days.

This stay was an absolute piece of paradise, I love it so much! Dianne was so friendly and accommodating while I was sick, truly a good soul. The unit was gorgeous, and the view from the bed was to die for. I can't wait to come back very soon. Thank you for having all of us, and the furbabies say sorry about the fur. They loved having the water and beach right there. It was so peaceful and healing for body, mind, and soul. I'm so grateful for the whole stay 🙏 💜💜😎😁

We booked the entire place for the weekend and couldn't have asked for more. The rooms were spot on, the location was perfect, and our host Diane was friendly, helpful, and accommodating in every way. What a fabulous weekend in a gorgeous spot. I'd recommend staying here to anyone, and we'll definitely be back.

Diane made our stay at Sunset so enjoyable, and our little dog was welcome too. The motel was very clean and well equipped, with an especially comfortable bed and a shower with great pressure. The cleaning staff were lovely as well. Thank you, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We loved the setting, right beside the water, with beautiful views that made everything feel peaceful and relaxing. The place was well priced for the comfort and scenery, and the amenities had everything we needed. From arrival, the manager was caring and exceptionally helpful, making check-in a breeze. Comfort Inn Sunset Thames is welcoming and well run, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Thames. 🌅🌴
