Fantail Hill

Mia, Carmel and Siegfried's very cute dog with the red bandana, made our stay even nicer. Their charming home is in a lovely spot in Thames, overlooking town, and they've done it up beautifully. The rooms were comfortable and had plenty of creature comforts. We also enjoyed the warm hospitality and delicious homemade breakfasts. We had a great stay and will definitely come back if we're in the area.

We spent five nights here as a group of four friends and wished we could have stayed longer. Carmel and Siegfried were fantastic, and their lovely little dog Mia was too. The BnB was tidy, lovely, and had everything we needed. The views were amazing, the hospitality incredible, and breakfast was really nice. Thanks again to Carmel, Siegfried, and Mia. I'd love to come back, hopefully soon. :)

Siegfried's breakfasts were as good as, or better than, anywhere in town, which made sense given his chef's training. We had scrambled eggs one day and poached the next, both perfect. I'm looking forward to coming back for an omelette. Carmel and Siegfried have made a calm retreat on the Thames hillside, with unmatched views across the estuary. They're warm hosts, and the private accommodation is tastefully decorated and well appointed. Thank you for having us. We'll be back.

Having a drink on the deck in the evening was lovely, especially with the sunset. I had a weekend away in Thames with my adult daughter and really enjoyed the private, comfortable accommodation. Carmel and Siggi were great hosts. Breakfast was a treat, especially Carmel's muesli and Siggi's sourdough and plum jam. It was nice when they joined us, as we got to know them better. I highly recommend a restful, refreshing stay, and look forward to returning and telling our friends and family. Have a wonderful year, Carmel and Siggi. 😀
