The owners made us feel at home straight away, and even the cat lounging outside was a lovely bonus. We slept really well in the great bed, though the room was on the small side, as we already knew when booking. The house itself is charming, with carefully chosen furniture and a lovely atmosphere. Everything in the facilities worked fine for us. Breakfast was freshly made by the owners, with extra toast and yoghurt available, plus good coffee and even chocolate milk. A really lovely stay.

We were able to walk to everything we needed from this well-kept historic building, and the garden was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, and the owners were warm and helpful. They even let us take some laundry detergent for a late-night laundromat run, which saved our dirty clothes.

We caught a wonderful sunset from the balcony, and the sizable breakfast was great. The hosts were congenial, the old building was very cool, and it was comfortable throughout. There was also a pool table and a friendly cat called Daisy. Great value.

The prices were fair, and the historic property is attractive, set on a quiet street within an easy walk of the main shopping street. The hosts were pleasant and helpful, and guests can relax in the garden. The rooms are rather small, which fits a Victorian property. Breakfast coffee was cheap and nasty, though. The shower heads were at chest height for some reason, with miserable flow and pressure.

We had a great time in the garden and enjoyed using the pool table. The rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were very kind. I'd happily stay here again in a heartbeat.
