The location worked so well for us that we booked again for the return leg of our Coromandel trip. Outside, the place looks a little faded, though it seems the owners are beginning to fix it up, and I wish them luck. Our room was huge, the bed was comfortable, and everything was spotless. There’s a basic kitchenette and Turangi shops are only five minutes away. Best of all, the thermal pool is about 10 feet from the back door. It’s hot, but lovely after a long day. We’ll definitely book here again.

The heated pool was a nice feature, and being close to the thermal pools was great. Our room was fine, and the self check-in directions were clear, so arrival went smoothly. One night, though, other guests were using the pool after 10 pm and made a lot of noise. I know that wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but it’s right in the centre, so you can hear everything.

We had a lovely stay, and the room was clean, huge, and affordable. The staff were easy to approach too. Thanks so much.

We just needed somewhere to sleep before heading to the snow, and the clean, spacious room was a nice surprise. There’s a hot pool on site as well, plus a little ski rental place just around the corner. Basic, but good.

It’s quite an old hotel, though they’ve tried updating some of the rooms. The bedding was nice and clean, but the bathroom and fridge were very old.
