We had an awesome three-night stay at Twizel Holiday Camp and will recommend it to friends and family heading your way. The facilities were well equipped and clean, with powered sites and easy access to taps and the kitchen. The man at reception was super helpful and shuffled things around to make our stay even better. They also had an adapter available for the powered sites. Thanks for a great stay!

The bed was comfortable, and I liked having a terrace. There wasn't any privacy out there, though, since it faces the campers' area. The cottage had a strange smell, maybe from the carpet. There's also a hole in the bathroom wall and nowhere to put soap or shampoo in the shower. The location is handy for Aoraki Mount Cook national park, and it's not far from the city center (market place) with all the services.

We planned to stay for fewer nights, but our car broke down and we didn't know when it would be repaired. The owners were easygoing about us staying on and booking an extra night late in the day. When we suddenly heard the car was fixed, they even refunded the next night. It's a nice, relaxing camping ground near the mount Cook erea, with a good kitchen, showers, and plenty of space to camp.

The A2O trail routes are close by, which made it easy to get to Lake Pukaki and see Aoraki. We also liked how peaceful Twizel Holiday Park was, while still being near the local shops. We booked two nights and really enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend this establishment!

The quiet view outside is nice if you want to sit and relax. The cabin kitchen has enough cooking appliances, plates, and bowls, but only two stoves seemed to be working and they cooked too slowly. Try to check in during reception operations time, otherwise it's self check in.
