The place was small, but really comfortable. Waking up to misty hills, gardens and those colourful cows was amazing. Such lovely hosts.

Jo & Pete made us feel so welcome, and Sid & Archie came by for a hello and a pat. There are good coffee spots and places to eat nearby, and the walks and local amenities are close too. The stay itself was peaceful and restful, with so much care in the details and thoughtful personal touches. Beautiful, luxurious and a lovely place for a holiday.

Amongst The Nikaus has a lovely garden with Nikau palms, and the cottage feels private and quiet even though the north end beach and shops are convenient. It’s a comfortable little place, beautifully designed and decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom and a large outdoor tub. Far more character than a run of the mill beach bach. A great getaway if you want style and comfort for a fair price.

The chalet and the setting were beautiful, and bathing outside under the stars was just perfect. Pete and Jo were such good hosts. I’d happily stay again, and might even see if Pete will take me fishing. Couldn’t rate the place highly enough.

A private spot with a super comfy bed, and Jo has taken care of every little thing. Loved the homemade supplies and the outdoor bath. I can’t fault it.
