We only booked two nights at Wilkes Way Villa and wished we could've stayed longer. The harbor view from our rental was a lovely bonus. We were in the Tui suite, one of two suites set on opposite sides of a large entrance, so it felt very private. It had a queen bed in one bedroom, two single beds in the other, a bathroom with a very nice shower, a stocked kitchen and dining table for six, plus a spacious living room. The owners communicated well from booking through checkout and gave us clear arrival and departure instructions, so everything went smoothly. The location was handy too, about a ten-minute drive from restaurants, the harbor, and the Interislander Ferry, which we'd recommend. Guests can use the large theatre room, with a pool table, big-screen TV, kitchen, and comfortable seating. We didn't use it. There was a washer and dryer, but the dryer was broken while we were there and they were waiting for a part. There were drying racks in the theatre room and our rental. We did two loads before heading out sightseeing in the morning, hung the clothes outside in the sun, and they were dry when we got back that afternoon. The views and outdoor area were gorgeous, and having access to the theatre room made us wish we could've stayed longer. Heather and Tim were wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. The apartment was spotless and nicely furnished, with all the things we needed. Even little touches like salt, pepper, oil, shampoo, and conditioner made the break easier. The beds were super comfy, and the shower had great pressure. We'd be back in a heartbeat if we get the chance. Thanks, Heather and Tim!

We couldn't have picked a better place to unwind and get ready for the ferry. The views were stunning, and the homely B&B had a lovely wing for guests. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and lounge areas were laid out beautifully, almost like something from your favorite episode of Blockhouse. We found this gem after bad weather spoiled our Golden Bay trip, and staying here let us get to the ferry dry.

We were outside central Picton, with lovely views of the countryside and harbour and a local pub within walking distance. Our two-bedroom apartment was beautifully furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen. Guests also have a huge cinema room with a second kitchen and full oven. There was plenty of room to cook, eat, and relax, and the beds, bedding, and settees were all comfortable. Everything about the place was perfect.

We had to cancel because of Covid, so we never stayed here, but they handled the cancellation so well that I still want to give them 5 out of 5. Once everything's okay, we'll definitely book Wilkes Way Villa again. Five stars.
