The Bungalow

We stayed at Lauretta's lovely cottage for a short visit last week and really enjoyed it. It was clean and cozy, and even our one-year-old lab settled in quickly and seemed comfortable. Lauretta was friendly and accommodating, gave us privacy, and was also lovely to talk with. We especially enjoyed her tasty breakfast. We'd strongly recommend her home to anyone travelling with a pet. You will love it! Lucia

We liked The Bungalow so much that we came back for a second stay on our return trip. It was the best B&B of our 10-day trip. The whole house has been beautifully renovated and was spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed. We had private, quiet use of the full-size family lounge, main bathroom and large bedroom, plus a kitchenette in the dining room. The guest bathroom isn't right off the bedroom, but it's just a few steps along the hall and nobody else uses it. Lauretta was friendly and helpful, and made a great breakfast. We'll stay again next time we're travelling through the North Island.

We had a very good night's sleep in the lovely, spacious and comfortable bedroom, bathroom and living room, all spotlessly clean. Laurie is a welcoming host with great local knowledge, and she cooks a delicious breakfast too. The Bungalow is a delightful place to spend a night or so in Whanganui. We look forward to coming back and highly recommend it.

The bungalow was so clean and comfortable, with everything we needed close at hand. We loved your Lucy and were glad we could bring our little dog. We really enjoyed our two nights and would love to come back. It's a very convenient rest stop for us on the way to extended family farther south.
