Wallaceville Motor Lodge

I’ve booked a stay here for November for my niece’s wedding and am looking forward to visiting this amazing hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and booking was so easy. Thanks, rainbow, for your help 😀

The Wi-Fi is absolutely terrible, so don’t count on it. The walls are paper thin and you can hear the person next door on the toilet. The service staff were excellent, and I appreciated them understanding my work. But the owner really shouldn’t shout at staff outside the rooms first thing in the morning, where everyone can hear. It was embarrassing. I’m not sure how the owner justifies the nightly price.

Lovely grounds with gardens and lots of trees, and it was very quiet. The rooms are large. I couldn’t get the TV remotes to work, but I had a good book and took the chance to read and relax without TV. It was my first time staying here.

Rainbow, the owner-operator, was a delight: warm and really helpful. The setting was beautiful, and my room was comfortable, quiet, clean and had all the amenities. The cooked breakfast was very nice and fairly priced. One small suggestion: a mini cardboard carton of milk would be great instead of all those mini plastic containers. It’d be much more sustainable.
