The room was clean and nice, and the house maid was really helpful. But the ceiling lights seemed dodgy, the windows wouldn't close, and there were no smoke alarms. The main road made it noisy. On our last morning, water leaked into our unit from the upstairs occupant. I don't know what caused it, but no refund was offered and I couldn't contact the manager. I called the next day and the receptionist said they knew nothing about it, then said the manager would call me. It's been two weeks and I still haven't heard anything. Poor customer service!

The room was serviced daily and we had clean towels, but this wasn't what we expected. We stayed in room 4. The apartment was small, functional and very basic, with a musty smell throughout that put us off. Although it was close to the marina basin, there was no view at all. Each passing car made the window rattle, and the shower curtain clung to my wet body, making a decent shower a nightmare. It was OK for a couple of nights, but we didn't feel great about the place. Last time we stayed at the Distinction hotel, which was much the same price and more comfortable. Sorry, we won't be back to Marina Court Hotelike.

The toilet bowl was brownish grey and needed a proper clean. The bathroom sink taps were loose, and there was no smoke alarm in the lounge where a bed was set up. The free WiFi only worked if we sat outside in the rain. I wouldn’t go back.

The bed was comfortable, and the cleaner was nice, but the place felt old and gloomy. Some lights didn’t work, there was mould on the taps, rust on the two burner stove, and the shower head kept drooping.

We only stayed overnight. The rooms looked a bit threadbare, but they were spotless, and the WiFi worked. The TV reception was excellent, and there was plenty close to town. The beds had lovely fresh sheets and there was plenty of room for a family.
