The bay looks beautiful from this quiet hillside, and it’s a lovely place to get out on the water or just relax. I took one of the kayaks around the bay. Vicky an Keith were kind and helpful throughout. The rooms are modern, neat, and clean, and the food is excellent, much of it cooked or baked with ingredients from their own organic lifestyle farm. I’d stay again.

Our son and daughter-in-law stayed here and couldn’t stop talking about it. They travel a lot and said BnB Whangaruru was as good as the best places they’d stayed, and better than many others. They’d recommend it to anyone, especially for the panoramic coastal views and the friendly, helpful hosts. I haven’t stayed there myself.

A newly built BnB in a wonderful spot, with breathtaking views. The owners were really friendly and welcoming, and the food comes from the local farm. Felt like a little slice of paradise.
