The staff were genuinely welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the value for money was A+. Breakfast is included in an already very reasonable price, with a good continental selection of toast, bagels, cereals and fruit, plus coffee, tea and juice. The location is quiet, just off the main road between town and the hotpools. Ski Time has a chalet feel, with clean rooms that are basic and a bit dated but not shabby. There are wooden floors, outdoor seating and great views. On site, there's a bar and restaurant, plus a modest lounge with a coffee and tea station, TV, fire and pool table. Parking is available at the front and rear, as well as on the street. We stayed one night in a three-person room as two people. Three in there would have felt cramped in winter. The walls aren't soundproof, though the other guests were considerate. The shower curtain is short, so keep it tucked against the sides of the cabin or water will get on the bathroom floor. We had a really good stay and would return if the chance comes up.

There aren't TVs in the rooms, which were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast comes with the room and there's a very good range of items, though nothing cooked. We had a great dinner at the restaurant, with lots of menu choices and generous portions. Bring a healthy appetite.

That sunrise and view were amazing, and the woman at reception was one of the nicest people I've met. I expected a dry bit of toast with butter and jam from the light breakfast, but it was much better: fresh bagels, fruit and freshly made spreads. One downside, the minibar in both of the two rooms I tried either didn't work or made a really loud noise :(

We came to Ski Time for a night away and a visit to Opuke Pools. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed super comfortable, and the staff greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was lovely, served in a characterful room with a roaring fire that took the chill off the cold morning. We'll be back for sure.

Even though it's close to the town centre and pools, the location is quiet and tucked off the main road. The staff were lovely, and smiling Susie arranged an early check-in when we arrived a little ahead of schedule. Continental breakfast was included, and there was also a busload of people having a cooked buffet breakfast. They invited us to join in at no extra cost. We'd definitely stay again.
