Thousand Nights Camp Hotel

There were lots of activities available, from camel riding to stargazing, and we had fun taking our 4X4 over the well-used desert routes to reach the camp. You can also drive up into the dunes to watch the sunset. We really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it. In hindsight, we should have added another night and booked a tent with its own pool. It's a busy resort, but the detached tents vary in size and are spaced well apart, so there's a fair amount of privacy. We stayed in a basic tent, which was absolutely fine for one night. Both the dinner and breakfast buffets were very good.

Riding camels, taking quads over the dunes, and spending the night beneath the stars made this a magical desert stay I'll always remember. I spent one unforgettable night at Thousand Nights Camp celebrating my birthday with friends. The staff and service were fantastic, and they made us feel welcome and special the whole time. Ninad deserves a special thank you for surprising me with delicious dates for my birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture. I'd happily return and recommend this beautiful place to anyone looking for a unique desert experience.

The dinner buffet was so good that I've never had one where every dish tasted delicious. We just checked in and already love it here. All the staff have been kind, and Parkhar was especially attentive and helpful at dinner. If you're new to the desert, use the resort's escort car service to help you find the place. It could get confusing on your first visit. 10/10, would recommend! 😊

We'd highly recommend the Bedouin trekking at sunset. The route takes you to several different viewpoints for great photos, and we enjoyed chatting with the Bedouin about the differences between Oman and our country. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished, and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. We were especially glad to find complimentary services we hadn't known about. Thanks to Zahid for arranging a unique sunset setup, Rashid for the wonderful begin trekking, Raj for the room support, Shabnam for Yoga, Mosin for stargazing, and Sultan the falcon.
