The Airport Hotel

I really enjoyed the Iftar. The variety was great, and the Omani food was delicious. Chef Shatha was kind and cooperative, and her classy attitude made the meal even better.

On the second day I had no Wifi, and I asked for housekeeping four times. I shouldn't have to keep asking for basic services. Reception staff were unfriendly, and when I called before arriving to ask about breakfast, the man who answered said there wouldn't be any and I'd have to make other plans. Then breakfast was available the next morning. At check-in, a group of women at reception were standing around talking about non-work matters instead of doing their jobs. I'm not someone who usually complains, but this was a bad experience. I don't recommend the hotel at all.

The food is what matters most to me as a real foodie, and the mini sandwiches, jekjouka, and even the omelettes were incredibly tasty. I'm not sure how to spell jekjouka, though. The room I had was very clean and organized, and the staff were genuinely professional and nice. Trying this hotel was a significant experience, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The food was fantastic, especially my final breakfast. You have to try the chocolate pancakes, they’re so good. The rooms, cleanliness, and service were all great too. The hotel was just right for me in every way.
