It’s a typical Omani house, and we appreciated how much it felt like home.

The welcoming, kind host and traditional furniture and atmosphere made this place feel magical. The views are breathtaking, and it has everything you could ask for in accommodation. I highly recommend staying here, and we’ll definitely return whenever we come to Jabal Akdhar.

Ahmed, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, and I’d gladly stay here again. ROSES HOUSE in Al Aqer/Saiq is such a relaxing place. The cozy holiday apartment is lovingly and tastefully furnished in traditional Omani style. It has three bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, courtyard and garden terrace with a barbecue, plus two bathrooms with showers. I highly recommend it.

The service is very good, and the balcony has a distinctive heritage character. It’s beautiful and elegant, a lovely spot to relax, and probably my favorite place.
