Alila Hinu Bay

The resort’s team made our three-night award celebration for 22 partners feel personal. Ali and Liana from the hospitality team welcomed everyone warmly, and the drivers, chefs, and room service staff were cooperative and supportive. When someone wasn’t happy with a service, the team responded quickly and effectively. We also had a smooth set of activities, from visits to Wadi Darbat and Jabal Samhan to snorkeling and diving. The resort handled the needs of a large group without treating us all alike, and that made it easy to relax and enjoy the event. I’d recommend Alila Hinu Bay for a corporate gathering or other large group trip where individual attention matters.

It was very quiet when we visited at the end of August, which was low season, so there wasn’t much happening around the resort. We were asked not to swim in the ocean because of high tides, and the pools were nearly empty too. It’s a peaceful place to stay. If you’ll be going in and out often or heading to the main restaurant for breakfast, ask for a room near the entrance and restaurant. Some rooms are a long walk away, and golf cars may not be available.

The ladies at the kids club were lovely, and our son really enjoyed spending time there. We also liked the beach and thought the food was excellent. Alila has a distinctive feel, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always checking whether we needed anything.

October was our first visit to Oman, and the welcome and beautiful setting at Alila made the trip unforgettable. The team paid attention to all the little details and made us feel at home. We’ve never stayed in a better hotel, and every meal felt like a special occasion. A heartfelt thanks to Ava, Smita, and chef Ashvini for their kindness, professionalism, and dedication. They made so many moments special. We left with lovely memories of Oman and a lot of gratitude for the people who made the stay meaningful. We can’t wait to come back someday.
