Hotel Kyriad Hotel, Salalah Hotel

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Kyriad hotel, and the service was amazing. The food was delicious, the team was very supportive, and the whole event went smoothly. Even our guests were happy.

The elevator sometimes stops just short of the floor you select, and shower water keeps shifting between very hot and cool, no matter where you set the temperature. Otherwise, I liked the room, gym, and pool. Dining at the 1st floor Cafe was nice for both breakfast and dinner, with a particularly good breakfast selection.

I spent just one night here. The location was very convenient, the room spacious and quiet, and the bed comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection, including an omelette station, and service was good overall. My bathroom wasn’t completely clean when I arrived, a small inconvenience. The staff apologised and dealt with it immediately. I understand small things like this can happen sometimes, and it’s the staff’s attitude that makes the difference. Congratulations to the team.

The room door locks failed twice, and both times I was locked out of my own room and had to wait far too long for the maintenance engineer. The bathroom water temperature also kept fluctuating, which made it very uncomfortable to use. My stay at Kyriad Hotel in Salalah was extremely disappointing. Poor management and maintenance, and no urgency about guest comfort. The quality feels below many average three-star hotels, yet the price is much higher than it’s worth. Instead of relaxing, I spent my time dealing with problems that shouldn’t happen in a hotel. I won’t return and strongly advise others to avoid it.
