We stayed here in 2015, when the hotel was still new. The rooms were very spacious, with balconies facing the sea, and the beach was barely 50 metres away. It's about half a kilometre from the main road, with easy access to Salalah's main attractions.

The room had a great view of the Indian Ocean, and you could hear the sea. Staff were nice. The place is lovely, though a little worn, and the pool was warmer than I like.

All three buildings are only steps from the beach, which I love, and they're owned by the same person. Salalah Beach Resort is the newer, clean building and the one I'd recommend, but it's the most expensive, from about RO 50 to over RO 100 per room per night. Salalah Beach Villas wouldn't be my choice, and neither would the older Beach Resort building with its one-bedroom apartments. If the view matters more to you than the accommodation, you could choose either of those other two.
