The garden out back overlooks the river and has a magnificent mountain view. The inn is a block from mammalena, so it’s close enough if you want to party. The owner keeps the place quaint and super clean, and she’ll share insider tips on the hikes, including how to do them yourself without paying for an expensive tour.

I didn’t book a stay, so I can’t comment on what it’s like to stay there. I asked whether the owner could offer a discount on a room she was showing me, which had no view because an outdoor kitchen was in front of the window. Her response felt very disrespectful, and I decided not to book.

It’s a great place to stay, with a nice view of Caldera River and right in front of Boquete Flower's Fair.

There’s a river running behind the hostel, and it’s nice to fall asleep to its sound. The place is central and near the flower festival. Parking is limited, which could be a downside. Some rooms don’t have air conditioning, but it wasn’t an issue since the early mornings get really cold, haha.

Itza gave me really useful recommendations for my time in Boquete and knows a lot about the best activities in the area. The hostel is well placed, and its spacious, comfortable, beautiful facilities are kept clean. It’s quiet at night, so I rested really well. Good value for the price, too.
