A good spot for a week or longer, with private access and the beach either right there or just a short walk or drive away. There’s a nine-hole golf course included with the accommodation, though renting a golf cart costs extra. On site you’ll find a small convenience store, gym, Bistro and bar. The beach bar and Bistro only operate on weekends. For a longer stay, I’d recommend renting a car since a decent grocery store is about a 10-15 minute drive away.
This place feels like a community, and it’s a gem that doesn’t seem to get much advertising. There’s a white sand beach, 18 pools, a couple of bars, a restaurant, and a lush, green nine-hole golf course. Families also have plenty to do, with kids’ areas, pickleball, basketball, sand volleyball and tennis courts. I was told the all-inclusive resort on the grounds is reasonably priced.
There are several kinds of places to stay here, including houses, apartments, condos, studios and villages, so you can pick what suits your needs. The Sheraton all inclusive resort is also on the premises. The beach, pools and restaurants are just steps away, and there’s a golf course, lake, private outdoor pool and tennis court too. Amazing place!
The ocean view rooms are stunning, and the kids’ pools are good for letting children burn off energy. But it was crowded and noisy when I visited over a weekend with a public holiday in between. I also got food poisoning from the buffet. The parking area needs improvement.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Maintenance is seriously lacking, service standards are very poor, and the food safety is terrible. Unless you want to spend your vacation vomiting and dealing with diarrhea, stay away.
