El Regalo Resort

We came to El Regalo Resort for some real peace and a chance to switch off. Staying in a private villa worked really well for that, and the private beach was one of the best parts of our visit. The food was delicious, and the staff made us feel welcome with how friendly they were. A small fridge in the villa would have been handy.

The secluded beach for guests made our stay unforgettable, and I loved having fresh fish every night. We also got to join a special community sushi dinner. The food was excellent, and the staff were always smiling and welcoming. El Regalo is a hidden gem in Boca Chica, with tropical grounds, lovely ocean views and a gorgeous pool. Our room was spacious, stylish and unique. Highly recommend! 🌴

The sunset hike with wine and charcuterie and the cooking class with the chef were both carefully planned and a lot of fun. We also enjoyed the quiet private beach, which was easy to walk along and swim from. The meals were delicious and creatively prepared and plated. El Regalo Resort is a lovely remote boutique hotel, up on a hill overlooking jungle, the Pacific Ocean and the islands around Boca Chica. The rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable, with lots of space in both the bedroom and bathroom. The proprietors and staff were wonderful, and service always came with a smile. I highly recommend a visit, and can’t wait to go back!

We had a smooth, wonderful stay at El Regalo, and I’ll be recommending it to anyone hoping to get away to paradise. The food was one of my favorite parts. There’s delicious food whether you prefer American fare or like trying something more adventurous. My family and I were treated like family from the beginning to the end. The staff and owners were outstandingly kind and attentive, and the pool view was incredible.
