Klika Bocas del Toro (formerly Selina)

The staff are genuinely kind and helpful, and the prices work well whether you want a shared hostel room or a private one. This is the best place to stay in Bocas del Torro, in my experience. I’ll be back. Muchas Gracias!!!

I’m 56 and stayed in a private room with great AC and WiFi. I checked out today to see other islands, and the hostel is holding my suitcase for free until I return for another five days. That was a lovely help. Klika is a party hostel in the center of town, right across from Filthy Friday and a few steps from Vibe. Yes, it’s loud. If someone books in the entertainment district and then complains about noise, that says more about their expectations than the place. I’ve read the complaints about noise, service, and cleanliness, but a hostel stay isn’t a curated five star experience. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help. Alexandra and Anali at reception are real professionals. At the restaurant, look out for Cappy, Alice, and the very sweet Nay. Big hugs to the whole amazing team. Sonny from Miami

The dock was a great spot to hang out, and they put on lots of events. The place felt like home, with good food, very clean spaces, and a perfect location. Cappy and Nicole were especially helpful.

Josue made my surf lesson such a good experience. I love the ocean but can get nervous, and he explained things clearly, stayed calm, encouraged us, and helped us keep improving. It felt rewarding and fun instead of nerve-racking, and now I want to stay longer so I can take another class with him. Highly recommend. The school is right in the hostel, which is really convenient. The hostel is central, the shared spaces are fun, the rooms were very clean, and the staff were so nice. Me encantó!
