The room was spotless and really comfortable, and the staff were as welcoming and helpful as people say. I only spent one night, but I was very happy with the hotel and restaurant. This is now my go-to hotel in David.

We just needed somewhere to crash for a good night's sleep. It's very basic, but the room was clean, there was hot water, and breakfast was good.

The restaurant is one of the best I've had at any hotel in Panama, and everything is very reasonably priced. The staff are great, rooms are pleasant, beds are very comfortable, and they clean every day. It's a small hotel without outdoor areas, which nearly cost it a star from me, but I'd definitely recommend it.

We had a delightful stay at Hotel Castilla, and my family and I plan to return and enjoy more of Panama. The hotel's location is amazing, and the restaurant has a good range of dishes at reasonable prices. Staff were professional, courteous, and helpful, and the hotel kept up good sanitary conditions during the pandemic. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the parking spaces were roomy enough for most cars. I only wish there had been a small refrigerator in the rooms. It was my first time visiting the town of Chiriqui in David, though I was born in Panama.

My boyfriend and I ended up here after our flight was cancelled, so we hadn't planned this stay. It's an okay place for a night, but don't expect anything luxurious. The rooms and decor feel pretty dated. Just a typical airport hotel, not somewhere I'd choose as a vacation destination.
