Hotel Campestre

We're here for five nights and have been so impressed by the people, who deserve a 20+. It's very clean, the food is great and the view is unbelievable. I don't speak Spanish, but we've managed to make it work. The pool is amazing.

We stayed here while my son was at camp. He had a wonderful time, and the hotel made a good starting point for my wife and me to explore El Valle. It cost less than half as much as the two closest hotels and had beautiful views of the jungle-covered mountains. Our room was spacious and recently renovated, but wind noise at night and camp counselors slamming doors and talking made it noisy. Breakfast was generous for the price. The staff were stretched thin serving the campers and counselors, so we had trouble getting lunch and dinner there. That was okay, since the lodging savings let us enjoy fine dining at pricier hotels in the area, spa treatments nearby and the brewery on site. We'll definitely return.

We've stayed here three times with our dog. The surroundings are serene and beautiful, a lovely place to enjoy nature. Our room was nice and the shower water was hot. Ricardo was a great, welcoming host. I'd highly recommend it for a visit to El Valle de Antón.

The hotel is clean, pleasant, good value and has a restaurant on site. It's right by the square tree trail and an interesting brewery. To reach most of the town, you can walk for about 20 minutes, catch the shuttle bus or take a taxi. The bus seemed to come fairly often at the edge of the hotel grounds. Walking costs nothing, the bus is 25 cents, and a taxi is one to two dollars.
