We were there for a highlight of our four-month trip. The beachfront setting was great, with several restaurants just a short walk away, and getting there by city shuttle was easy and inexpensive in a comfortable van. The rooms were nice, the beds comfortable, and the heat pumps seemed new and worked without a problem. The pool was chest-deep and stayed clean and fresh. The groundskeeper clearly puts a lot of care into keeping the property tidy, and all the staff, from administration on, were friendly and accommodating. The website photos were accurate, so what you see is what you get.

We spent nearly a week here, and my sister and I had such a good time. The staff were cheerful, caring, and helpful, and the owner was especially kind, always smiling and ready to lend a hand. Everything was spotless and well kept. Our room was right by the middle of the beach, so the ocean was only seconds away on foot. We ate at the hotel restaurant most mornings and evenings. The pancakes, salads, pasta, pizza, and especially the tuna were delicious. I also tried a surf lesson and had a blast. It got tough, but the instructor kept encouraging me and brought such good energy that I stayed in the water for 45 minutes, giving it another try each time. We loved our stay and would happily come back.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, and hammocks all over the place. The seaside spot is nice, and restaurants are nearby. It has what you need, including a pool, which I guess is why it costs more.

The dorm room was really nice, and we had a great time in a beautiful spot. Brent’s surf lessons and John’s Jiu-Jitsu lessons were great too.

The food, surfing, and place to stay were all amazing. It feels like a hidden gem, and I hope it stays that way until we make it back years from now.
