Villa Larisa

This was a stressful, cringe-worthy stay, not the luxurious retreat it claims to be. The photos make Villa Larisa in Andromeda Club, in Pedasi, look amazing, but it was anything but. Our check-in directions were incomplete, and we had to stop at the clubhouse to get the address. Henrik, the club house manager, gave me his contact details, and I brought him to the house within an hour to show him some problems. The garbage from previous guests was scattered on the grass beside the house because the bins were too small, and an animal may have gotten into it. Henrik cleaned it up when I pointed it out. Inside looked superficially clean, but closer inspection showed poor attention to cleanliness, and the outdoor patio was covered in bird crap. My feet turned black after only a few hours walking around inside. There were moldy coffee grounds in the coffee maker, wet laundry in the dryer, and the dryer vent wasn't connected, making the unit hotter and more humid. The bathroom fixtures had dirty water stains and looked nothing like the pictures. The BBQ beside the house and the outdoor table and chairs were dirty, and pool water wasn't circulating. Henrik said he'd have someone clean the patio the next day. For some of the indoor problems, he just said the unit had been cleaned. To be fair, he didn't know about half of the issues, because the water went out the evening we checked in and stayed off for two full days. The next morning we insisted on being moved. On the second morning without water, Azuero got back to me and was able to move us to another property. Henrik was uncommunicative and ineffective at arranging the move.
