The rooms were dirty and very noisy, and the fried food smell was around at all hours. Breakfast was disgusting, with no bowls or utensils. The shower curtain was black with mold, and there was no hot water. The curtains didn’t block the light or street noise. Staff were rude and spoke no English. Wifi was non existent. There are many nicer places nearby, and this cost double the average local rate.

We booked here after our previous reservation was cancelled, and at first everything seemed alright. On our second day, while we were at Machu Picchu, two of my wives sports bras were taken from her bag. Nothing was done to fix it or make us feel better. I think it was disgusting and a violation of privacy. It feels awful knowing people go through your things. Pick somewhere else, or lock up your bags and clothes.

Our room had no windows. There was no hot water when we arrived, and the crew didn’t know how to deal with it, so it took a long time. Look for a better place to stay before your visit to machu pichu.

They put us up at another hotel, Killa inn, for no reason. It seems they overbook and sell rooms they don’t actually have. The room at Killa inn was nice.
