Hotel Waman

Breakfast wasn't good, and staff were rarely around. We left our luggage in one room and kept the key while we went to Machu Picchu. When we came back, they'd moved our bags to another room without telling us, then rented our room to other people. We walked in and found someone else sleeping in our bed. It made the place feel unsafe, since you never know if they might give your key to someone else. The room and floor were dirty, the bed smelled, and the hotel photos looked photoshopped. The service was bad.

Horrible service. The rooms weren't clean, the sink dripped, and the wood was rotten. The receptionist removed our bags without telling us. When we got back, two guys were asleep in my bed. She said she'd done it herself and made sure nothing was lost. There are too many hotels in Machupichu to stay here.

The room was huge and worked perfectly for our large group to stay together. Cris was wonderful: she met us at the station, helped us out a lot, and was always proactive. My experience was a 10/10. I highly recommend it.

Manuel was attentive and very kind throughout our stay, and the service overall was really good. The beds were super comfortable, so we slept well. We'll definitely come back. Highly recommend.
