The room had a decent view, but cleanliness was questionable. There was dust in the corners, the bathroom didn't seem properly cleaned, and the basic amenities and general condition made it feel like maintenance was due. Thin walls and noisy hallways made it hard to relax or get peace and quiet after traveling. Check-in was also frustrating. Even with a reservation, the staff seemed unprepared and disorganized, and it took far too long to get my room key. Nobody explained the delay. There wasn't much to redeem the stay, and I left regretting my choice of Sol de los Andes Inn. I hope management addresses these issues. For now, I'd suggest looking at other places in the area.

I was met at the train station and shown the way here. Everyone working there was so kind and welcoming, and after the long trip the shower pressure felt amazing. It can get a little loud, but it's a tourist town and people travel with their families. 10/10, I'd recommend staying here in Machu Picchu!

We were put in this hotel as part of a package. We checked in at 10 and were back out before 11. Thirty minutes was enough. The room smelled like a baby's nappy, and the towels were wet. The receptionist was rude. He'd made a booking mistake, then gave us attitude about it. The WiFi kept cutting in and out. Unless you're completely desperate, I'd avoid staying here. I wouldn't have booked it myself after reading the reviews, and I don't know how this business is still open.

The dinner was good, and they made lots of dietary substitutions for us. Service was nice, and they held our bags while we went to Machu Picchu. The hotel itself was clean and good, though the pillows were hard. Breakfast was basically just bread.

We stayed just one night. The people serving us were very kind and offered to help. After we checked out, they kept our backpacks while we went around to see the places in Machupicchu town, until our train left at 8pm.
