Ariquepay Hotel

I usually don’t write long reviews, but I loved this place. It’s pretty and very clean, and the location is ideal: close to the Plaza de Armas, but far enough away to feel quieter and more relaxed. The rooftop restaurant/bar is beautiful. On my first night in Arequipa, I had drinks and pizza up there while watching the sunset, a perfect start to the trip. Everyone was welcoming. Lugui picked me up at the airport, gave me a helpful introduction to the area, and shared tips on what to see and do nearby. That was especially nice after a long day of travel. Nicol at reception was just as friendly. The reception room is stunning, with beautiful original sillar stone walls. My room was modern, comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable, and there were both firm and soft pillows. It had a Smart TV, good water pressure, and a balcony looking out at the cathedral. Breakfast on the roof was fresh and well prepared, with fruit, cheese, meats, breads and some cooked options. The hotel is a couple of blocks from the Plaza de Armas and Santa Catalina Monastery, whose nighttime entry looks especially cool. A free walking tour starts right across the street, and there are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!

I loved my stay here last fall. This tiny boutique hotel is a great place to rest or just have a staycation, and it’s conveniently located. Everything was clean, breakfast was decadent, and the staff were so kind and respectful. Jonathan, Diego, Juan Carlos, Georgette, y Beto were especially helpful. Jonathan was the first person I met and made me feel welcome, and Diego even brought breakfast to my room when something extra had to be prepared. The customer service was excellent. There’s also an incredibly talented piano player. Hearing him from the rooftop bar or my room was exquisite. I loved the whole experience and all the kind interactions. Margarita! 💛💛💕🫶🏽🫶🏽🌸

I work hard for an airline and take at least one vacation each month, so I’ve stayed in plenty of places. This hotel and its staff really stood out. Usually I’m eager to go explore, but for the first time I wanted to stay in and enjoy the hotel itself. If you’re visiting Arequipa, this is the best place to stay. It’s incredibly clean and feels super safe. Everything was outstanding. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay here in Arequipa. The room was perfect, with every detail taken care of, and all the employees were kind and well-mannered. Breakfast was included and the price was excellent. We also booked tours through the hotel at a good price. The rooftop has beautiful views of the city and volcanoes.
