The location is hard to beat, and the staff were nice. The rooms were clean too. I went back and forth between giving it four or five stars, but reviews had set my expectations pretty high. There’s no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage all the way upstairs. Tap water isn’t drinkable, and there’s no free bottled water either, which seems like a strange trend in Peru.

We slept really well: the beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet, and breakfast was very good. The roof terrace has a lovely view of the Misti volcano and nearby monastery. The staff were kind, helpful, and flexible. The location is great too, with everything walkable and plenty of good restaurants nearby. Definitely the best hotel we stayed at in Peru.

We got stuck in Arequipa during the corona crisis and spent three weeks here. It’s family owned, and everyone was incredibly kind to us. Thanks again for everything, and all the best to you! The rooms were clean and pleasant, and breakfast was solid. It’s close to the old town, right next to the monastery, and about a five minute walk from Plaza del Armas. There’s also a small roof terrace where you can relax and look out over the city and volcano Misti.

The rooms were good, and so was breakfast. Great service!

The rooms were clean and well looked after, and we slept comfortably. Staff were friendly and spoke enough English. It’s close to the historic center, just across the street from the convent. For the price, it’s great value, and I’d certainly stay here again if I’m in the area.
