Hotel Ayenda La Posada Real Arequipa

The location and price were good, but the service needs work. I stayed 4 days and nobody came to clean the room. They only came after I asked, and all they did was leave fresh towels. They didn't actually clean.

I was in town for a game and found the service very good. It’s in a really convenient spot, and the rooms are nice and simple. For the price, they’re fine.

I visited Arequipa as a tourist in my own car and looked for a place near the center. The route to the Posada Real is tricky, and the area feels rather dark. I was told there was private parking, but what I found was a patio where cars were packed tightly together in a way that felt risky. There are two administrators at reception, but the polite treatment seemed to stop when the young assistants took over. They weren't friendly, didn't take guest feedback, and offered no help with the parking or complaints about noise from other guests. They treated requests as if guests were a nuisance. One morning we said we would extend our stay through the next day. When we came back that afternoon or evening, the assistants said nobody had told them, so they hadn't cleaned our room. A place to stay should offer hospitality, kindness and reliable service that makes tourists feel looked after. I wouldn't recommend Posada Real again.

They welcome pets, and the service is good.
