Magic Packer Hostel

The top floor has lovely city views, and the free breakfast was delicious. Staff were really friendly, and it was great value for the price. You could hear noise carry from the lobby, but that’s like other hostels, and I didn’t find it too loud since there were quiet hours at night.

I stayed almost a month, and everyone was friendly. Breakfast was included, and everything was perfect. One of the best options in Cusco.

The location worked really well, with plenty of places to eat nearby and a 15-20 minute walk to the main square. We booked a private room with an ensuite shower, and it was clean, spacious and comfortable. There was hot water every day, breakfast was included, and the helpful, friendly staff cleaned the room regularly and changed the towels daily. There are lots of activities for solo travelers, too.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in Latin America. The modern rooms were clean and recently renovated, and the common area and work space were nice. Pricing was very good, and the restaurant was solid. Staff were kind, too. We arrived a day late, but they didn’t charge us for the missed night. Showers were hot with good pressure, and the rooms weren’t freezing, both uncommon in Cusco. Free breakfast came with good coffee. There’s no communal kitchen, unlike at most hostels. They have around five Wi-Fi routers, though internet in the rooms could still be spotty, which isn’t unusual in Peru.
