Hotel Le Prince

The location is good, the staff are very friendly and ready to help, and the bathroom water gets very hot. Breakfast starts at 8:00 AM, which felt late to me since some hotels start at 6:00 AM. It isn’t a buffet: they serve coffee or tea, two pieces of toast, butter, jam, a slice of cake, and yogurt. There’s no elevator, and the rooms don’t have refrigerators.

The hotel is in a quiet area, so street noise doesn’t come through. The rooms are spacious and clean, the location is excellent, and the service is good. A pleasant place to stay.

It’s easy to rest here any time of day because the rooms stay quiet, and they’re very comfortable. The staff are friendly and attentive too. A lovely experience, highly recommended.

Here are the issues, as I see them: 1. The exchange rate they use is unjustified and nearly 10% above the reservation’s base price. They also won’t take dollars, even though the card readers accept them. That feels abusive. 2. The water is cold, not even warm. In winter, that’s unacceptable. 3. There’s far too much noise in the facilities. 4. Breakfast is barely a snack and isn’t enough to start the day. There are no eggs or other protein. They serve only bottled juice, hot water, sliced bread, and a type of mortadella that doesn’t look appetizing.
