The biggest issue for me was the noise. The lobby’s high ceiling and its connection to all the bedrooms mean voices from people talking outside echo through. The place itself is simple and comfortable, nothing extravagant, and the attendants are caring. Breakfast is basic too, but okay to good.

I wouldn't recommend this place. The room was cold and gloomy, and the tiny heater barely worked. Hot water in the shower wasn't steady, so I had to wait a long time for it to warm up. I was left waiting outside to check in and arrived late for my business meeting. I had to ask for a hairdryer, and the one they brought was mini-sized. They advertise a breakfast buffet, but that wasn't what I got. I asked for soft-boiled eggs and was served hard-boiled ones. At checkout they made me wait while they supposedly checked the room. That made me wonder if they host unsavory characters. If you're used to exclusivity, this isn't the place for you. To me, it felt more like a hostel than a hotel. NOT RECOMMENDED.

We had a peaceful stay, and the place is close to the Yanahuara viewpoint. Everyone was friendly and helpful, including with extra requests. A very good experience, highly recommended.
