Hotel San Andrés

The staff were friendly and looked after me well from start to finish. My room was comfortable and clean, and my stay at Hotel Suite Los Inkas was excellent. I'd happily recommend it and would return.

This was extremely uncomfortable and not a suitable place to rest. There was no window in the room, the door lock was broken, and the staff gave terrible service.

They were completely unprofessional. At 7:00 AM on the day I was due to arrive, they cancelled my reservation and demanded a minimum stay of three nights, although I had originally booked for two. They didn't answer my inquiries, and only contacted me on WhatsApp when it suited them.

The view of Misti and the other volcanoes is lovely, and the room stays warm. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom had big mirrors and good ventilation, and check-in was quick. But my reserved room had been given to someone else on the day I arrived. I waited while it was cleaned and was put in a cheaper room in the meantime. Breakfast is advertised, though it actually costs extra, with that detail only in small print. Some staff were friendly, others grumpy, and the internet was slow and sometimes cut out. For the price, the rooms feel small, and you can hear other guests. The street-facing room was noisy for most of the day since the hotel is on a corner.
