The rooftop terrace had lovely views over the volcanos, and there’s a bar in the evening. It was also quiet, so I slept well, and the staff were helpful. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious, with hot showers and great water pressure. There’s a kitchen and luggage storage too. We stayed here both before and after our trip to Colca Canyon and couldn’t have been happier. Great place and location!

The hostel is only a minute from the main plaza, but it stays really quiet. The staff were very friendly, and our room was big and sunny.

Hot water, nice staff, quiet rooms, and a 24/7 person at the door. It’s also close to the buses and in a great location. On my third and last night, around midnight, I found a bedbug crawling on the sheet near my pillow in room 201. I squished it straight away, and there was a bloodstain left behind, possibly my blood. I searched on Google in a panic, and it seemed to say bedbugs don’t carry or transmit diseases, but it was still gross. I’d recommend several rounds of fumigation.

The room was very clean, and the location is great. Breakfast was okay. I visited in low season when there were only a few guests, so I wonder if there are enough sanitary facilities when it’s full. The toilet is in the middle of an 8 person room, separated only by a thin piece of drywall.

Clean room with everything we needed, and the staff were friendly. It’s just a short walk to the main square and plenty of bars and restaurants. Fantastic value, and we’d certainly come again!
