This wastes other people's time.

The location is handy for the main square, but being beside a major avenue made it noisy. The room smelled of sewage when we arrived, and the odor stayed for several days. During our five nights they changed the sheets just once, and instead of sweeping properly they left the dirt they had swept in piles along the hallways. They seemed to use the wrong amounts of soap, conditioner, and shampoo. Service was awful. The staff acted as if helping us was a favor, and they didn't bring towels. We had to go downstairs and ask for them. If you want to sleep well and enjoy Arequipa, don't stay here. Booking.com only shows the good reviews, but that's far from what we experienced. I'd give it zero if I could. Terrible place and service!!!!

Sleep was difficult: street noise came straight into the rooms, and on the fourth floor we could hear the terrace very early in the morning. The internet was so bad that watching anything on the TV wasn't possible. The shower was cramped, and its water swung from extremely hot to extremely cold with no proper way to regulate it. Breakfast was basic and identical each day, and the rooms weren't cleaned or given towels. The staff and manager were terrible to deal with. They advertise rooms for 80-90 soles but tried to charge us 130 soles, taking advantage of foreign tourists. They also tried to add charges after quoting a price for late checkout or an extra day.

The room they gave me had a horrible smell, and the service was just as bad. They don't change the sheets, and the staff barely try. Truly one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. Very bad.
