We booked ahead and paid a deposit for the Ayacucho festival, but when we arrived, the hotel was full. The owner said a former employee had made the reservation and “didn’t notify them,” then washed her hands of it. She showed no empathy or effort to help us, even though it was such a busy date. Instead, she was rude and said she was “wasting her time” with us and that it wasn’t her responsibility. The way we were treated was unprofessional and completely lacking in humanity. Their internal problems become the customer’s problem, and they don’t resolve it. On top of that, when we asked for the official complaint book, they refused to provide it and claimed they “didn’t have one.” I can’t recommend this place.

The facilities are in poor shape, and there are plenty of other unpleasant issues. There’s no proper hot water, only lukewarm water that’s almost hot. Worst of all, I got stuck in my room because the lock jammed. Like the previous reviewer, I found the owner disappointing and completely unhelpful. Her treatment of guests was awful, basically, “Oh! I’m not your employee, clean it up yourself.”
