I've had both breakfast and lunch here several times. The food is excellent, but the servers are slow and never smile.

A very nice restaurant with a big menu of Peruvian dishes and patio service. The best bit was the clean bano, with a toilet seat and a paper dispenser for each person.

ViaVia is great value and a good choice for a visit to Ayacucho. The cafe-restaurant has a wonderful view of the Plaza de Armas, and we had breakfast, dinner, and cocktails there. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the staff are friendly. We loved the stay and the location. One thing to know: the rooms face an internal courtyard where people pass by, so we had to close the shutters for privacy. You can also hear activity at night and in the morning.

A friend recommended ViaVia, and we loved the atmosphere, delicious food, and wonderful service. We came for an early dinner and had a table overlooking the plaza de armas. Our server knew the menu well, answered all our questions, and made useful recommendations. She also helped adjust a dish for my dietary restrictions. 10/10, we'll be back!

The rooftop restaurant is a nice spot, with a view over Plaza de Armas, and the Alpaca Lomo Saltado was great. My room was decent, though it faced the back and got very loud during a live music event.
