The owner was so kind, gave us useful information, and made us a really nice breakfast. Our stay has been wonderful. We had a room with two beds, fresh towels, shampoo, and a TV. There’s a fridge, microwave, and kettle for guests to use, and a nice terrace upstairs with a kitchen as well.

A handy place for a couple of nights, with clean rooms, hot showers, and a table and chairs in the room. There’s secure space for bicycles either in the room or up on the roof.

The dogs on the little street out front were the one downside. It’s better to reach the hostal from the main street. Otherwise, great value for money. The owner was friendly and helped us arrange a day trip to Laguna 69. Breakfast is available for 10 soles, and that’s great value too.

A few minutes’ walk from the center, this is a very functional hostel, and we highly recommend it. We had a clean, pleasant room with a balcony, and hot water. The managers were approachable and helpful, especially with hiking. Breakfast costs 10 soles and is very good and plentiful. Guests can also use a refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen. One tip: there are quite a few stray dogs around, so take the main road to get to the hostel, as it’s much easier. They bark at night too.
